California’s water shortage likely to impact crop yields and probably the size of the almonds for the 2014 crop.

I am also attaching a link to former President John F. Kennedy’s dedication speech, made nearly 42 years ago, dedicating the San Luis Dam project, a crucial part of the California State Water Project. Kennedy outlined the importance of water development in the west and emphasized our ability to chart our own course with regard to water usage. His vision articulated the importance of water to the nations economy and the California agricultural industry.
